Fairfield City stretches across 27 suburbs in Sydney's south-west, from the busy centres of Fairfield and Cabramatta to the quieter streets of Bossley Park and Wetherill Park. Booking a taxi with baby seat in Fairfield means your driver arrives with every capsule, toddler seat and booster already fitted, and enough room for prams, shopping and the people you're travelling with.

Baby Taxi Sydney is a pre-booked family service available 24/7, every day of the year. Your quote includes the baby seats and any tolls, and the price is confirmed before you book. We collect from Fairfield, Cabramatta, Canley Vale, Wetherill Park, Bossley Park, Prairiewood and the surrounding suburbs.

One booking for the whole family

When cousins, grandparents and a newborn are all heading to the same lunch, christening or celebration, splitting into several cars gets complicated. Our 7-seater vans and 11-seater people movers fit several child seats side by side, with space for double prams, travel cots and bags.

  • Mixed ages – a rear-facing capsule, a harnessed toddler seat and a high-back booster in one vehicle.
  • Grandparents along – extra adult seats, so nobody has to follow by train.
  • Big boot space – for prams, gifts and food for the occasion.

Shopping in Cabramatta, Fairfield and Wetherill Park

Cabramatta's town centre is known for its Southeast Asian food, fresh produce and fabrics, with Freedom Plaza and its Pai Lau gateway at its heart. In Fairfield, Fairfield City Central on Smart Street (formerly Neeta City) covers the weekly shop, and Stockland Wetherill Park on Polding Street is a large indoor and outdoor centre with a cinema and dining lane.

A big shop with a baby and a toddler is hard work on the bus or train. Book a ride there and back, and your driver will help load the boot while you settle the children. Jane D. described our service as: "In time, great communication, very fair price, and amazing service."

Fairfield Hospital and Liverpool Hospital discharges

Fairfield Hospital, on the corner of Polding Street and Prairievale Road in Prairiewood, has a birthing unit, postnatal ward and special care nursery, with a pick-up and drop-off zone outside the front entrance on Polding Street. Liverpool Hospital, on the corner of Elizabeth and Goulburn Streets, is the other major birthing hospital nearby, and its Goulburn Street entrance is the closest to maternity.

Your driver arrives with a rear-facing capsule fitted using ISOFIX and top tether, ready for your baby's first trip home. Book ahead with your expected date and update us on the day. We're independent and not affiliated with either hospital. Learn about our newborn hospital discharge taxi.

Taxi with baby seat to either Sydney airport

Fairfield is roughly 30 km from Sydney Airport at Mascot. Off-peak, the drive is often around 35–50 minutes, usually via the Hume Highway and the M5, though weekday peaks can add a good deal more. Any tolls on the route are included in your quote.

Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport at Badgerys Creek opened to passengers in October 2026, and from Fairfield it's reached via the M7 and the toll-free M12 Motorway. Check which airport your flight uses before you book, and we'll plan the route and pick-up time around it. More on our airport transfers with baby seat.

Weekends at the farm and the showground

Calmsley Hill City Farm on Darling Street, Abbotsbury, is an interactive farm within the Western Sydney Parklands, with farm animals and native wildlife that little ones love. Closer to the centre, Fairfield Showground in Prairiewood is home to Deerbush Park, an all-abilities playground with a water play area.

Book the return trip at the same time, and the seats will be ready for the ride home when everyone has run out of energy.

The right restraint for every age

Under NSW rules, children under seven must ride in an approved child restraint that suits their age and size. Babies up to six months travel rear-facing. Between six months and four years, they need a rear-facing seat or a forward-facing seat with an inbuilt harness. From four to seven, a harnessed seat or a booster is required.

Taxis are allowed a limited exemption, so a child over 12 months may use just a seatbelt if no restraint is available. It's legal, but it's not the safe option. We fit AS/NZS 1754 compliant seats with ISOFIX and top tether before every pickup, chosen for each child. More about our taxi with child seat service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fit three child seats in one vehicle?

Yes. Our 7-seater vans and 11-seater people movers fit several child seats side by side, so a capsule, a toddler seat and a booster can travel together. Tell us each child's age and how many adults are coming, and we'll choose a vehicle with enough seats and boot space for prams and bags.

Can you collect us from Fairfield Hospital in Prairiewood?

Yes. We collect families from Fairfield Hospital on the corner of Polding Street and Prairievale Road, and from Liverpool Hospital. Book ahead with your expected discharge date, then let us know on the day once you have a time. Your capsule will already be fitted. We're independent and not affiliated with either hospital.

How long is the drive from Fairfield to Sydney Airport?

Off-peak, it's often around 35–50 minutes for the roughly 30 km trip, usually via the Hume Highway and the M5. Weekday peaks can add a lot more, so we'll suggest a pick-up time with a generous buffer. From Wetherill Park or Bossley Park, allow a few extra minutes.

Can you take us to Western Sydney International Airport?

Yes. Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport at Badgerys Creek opened to passengers in October 2026. From Fairfield and Bossley Park, drivers usually go via the M7 and the toll-free M12 Motorway. Double-check which airport your flight leaves from when you book, as both now serve Sydney.

Can grandparents and other adults travel with us?

Of course. Tell us how many adults and children are travelling, plus each child's age and your luggage. For bigger groups we'll suggest a 7-seater van or an 11-seater people mover, with every child seat fitted before pickup, so the whole family arrives together instead of in separate cars.

Do you pick up in Bossley Park and Wetherill Park?

Yes. We cover Bossley Park, Wetherill Park, Prairiewood, Smithfield, Edensor Park, Canley Vale, Cabramatta and the rest of Fairfield City. As a pre-booked service, we recommend booking ahead, particularly for early-morning flights, hospital discharges and weekend family events when you need a larger vehicle.
