Campbelltown is the busy regional centre of Macarthur, and many families here face long drives to the airport, the city or specialist appointments. A baby seat taxi in Campbelltown takes the stress out of those trips: we arrive with a rear-facing capsule, toddler seat or booster already fitted, so you can buckle in and go.
Baby Taxi Sydney is a pre-booked family service based in Roselands, running 24/7, every day of the year. Campbelltown sits on the outskirts of our usual area, so trips here are by arrangement. Book ahead and we'll confirm the vehicle, the seats and a fixed price that already includes tolls.
Going home from Campbelltown Hospital
Campbelltown Hospital is on Therry Road, and its birthing unit and maternity ward are in the newer clinical services building that opened in 2022 as part of the hospital's major redevelopment. It's the main birthing hospital for the Macarthur region, so plenty of local babies take their first car ride from here.
- Book with your estimated discharge date as soon as you know it.
- Message or call us on the day, as discharge times often move.
- Your driver arrives with a rear-facing capsule anchored with ISOFIX and top tether.
- They'll load the bags while you settle your baby.
We're an independent service and aren't affiliated with the hospital. Read more about our newborn hospital discharge taxi.
Campbelltown to Sydney Airport with a baby
The drive to Sydney Airport usually follows the M31 Hume Motorway onto the M5, then either the M5 East or the M8 and Sydney Gateway towards the terminals. Allow around 45–70 minutes, depending on traffic. Weekday peaks can slow things down between Moorebank and Beverly Hills, so we'll suggest a pickup time with a sensible buffer.
The T8 train runs from Campbelltown to the airport, which works well for light travellers. With a baby, a pram, car seats and suitcases, though, a door-to-door car is far easier, especially for early departures before the first trains. Tolls are always included in your fixed quote. As Tom S. put it: "Airport pick up and drop off with baby seat was spot on."
Western Sydney International Airport at Badgerys Creek opened to passengers in October 2026. If your flight uses it, just mention it when you ask for a quote. Learn more about our airport transfers with baby seat.

Why booking ahead matters on the outskirts
Because Campbelltown is a longer run from our Roselands base, we plan these trips in advance rather than sending the nearest car. That's what lets us turn up with the right seats fitted and a vehicle big enough for your gear.
- Early flights – book at least a day ahead so the pickup is locked in.
- Hospital discharges – book once you have an estimated date, then update us.
- Specialist visits in the city – a return trip can be arranged so you're not stuck waiting for a ride home.
Tell us the children's ages, how many bags you have and whether you're bringing a pram, and we'll match the car to the trip.
The right seat for a long motorway drive
On a long run up the M5, a correctly fitted seat matters even more. In NSW, children under seven must use an approved child restraint suited to their age and size. Babies under six months must face the rear, children from six months to four years need a rear-facing seat or a forward-facing seat with an inbuilt harness, and four to seven-year-olds use a harnessed seat or a booster.
Standard taxis don't have to carry child seats, and a child over 12 months can legally ride in one with just a seatbelt. We don't think that's good enough for a baby or toddler on the motorway. Every seat we use meets AS/NZS 1754 and is installed by a trained driver before pickup.
- Rear-facing baby capsules for newborns to around 12 months
- Forward-facing toddler seats with 5-point harness for around 1–4 years
- High-back boosters for around 4–8 years

Do you service Campbelltown and the Macarthur region?
Yes, by arrangement. Campbelltown and nearby suburbs such as Leumeah, Ingleburn, Narellan and Mount Annan are on the outskirts of our usual area, so we plan these trips in advance. Book as early as you can, especially for early flights or hospital discharges, and we'll confirm the vehicle, seats and fixed price.
Can you pick us up from Campbelltown Hospital after the birth?
Yes. We collect families from Campbelltown Hospital on Therry Road. Book with your estimated discharge date and keep us updated on the day, as timing often changes. Your driver arrives with a rear-facing capsule already installed with ISOFIX and top tether. We're independent and not affiliated with the hospital.
How long does it take to drive from Campbelltown to Sydney Airport?
Usually around 45–70 minutes, depending on traffic and the time of day. Drivers normally take the Hume Motorway and the M5, then the M5 East or the M8 and Sydney Gateway. Weekday peaks can be slow near Moorebank, so we'll suggest a pickup time that leaves a comfortable buffer before your flight.
Are M5 and M8 tolls included in my quote?
Yes. Your fixed quote includes any tolls on the route, as well as the child seats, so there are no hidden fees. The price you're quoted is the price you pay. Quotes vary with distance, vehicle size and the number of seats, so request one online or call 0426 779 775.
Is the train easier than a taxi from Campbelltown to the airport?
The T8 train runs from Campbelltown to the airport and suits light travellers. With a baby, you'll be managing a pram, bags and stairs or lifts, and there's no car seat waiting at the other end. A pre-booked car with seats fitted takes you door to door, including early-morning departures.
Can you fit car seats for three children?
Yes. Tell us each child's age and we'll fit the right mix of capsules, toddler seats and boosters. For three or more seats, or extra adults and luggage, we'll recommend a 7-seater van or an 11-seater people mover, which fit several seats side by side with room for prams.
